In 1995, Ben began his career at Capitol Coffee as a Sales Representative, where his dedication to customer relationships and sales excellence set him apart. Over the next seven years, he honed his skills and built a reputation for delivering exceptional service and results.

In 2001, Ben’s leadership and vision earned him the role of General Manager for Capitol Coffee’s North Carolina division. Over the next 14 years, he played an instrumental role in expanding the company’s operations and strengthening its presence in the market.

From 2015 to 2020, Ben served as President of Capitol Coffee North Carolina, driving strategic growth and elevating the company’s performance. His ability to blend operational expertise with a customer-first mindset positioned the company as a leader in the industry.

Since 2021, Ben has served as Co-CEO of Capitol Coffee, leading the company alongside his brother with a focus on innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth throughout the Southeast.

Ben resides in Charleston, SC, with his wife and their two children. He is passionate about fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within Capitol Coffee while delivering top-tier coffee solutions to clients.

Charles Brunson has dedicated his career to the coffee industry, starting while still in college. While earning his degree in Geology from the College of Charleston in 1997, Charles worked part-time at Capitol Coffee, managing a coffee route. After graduation, he joined Capitol Coffee full-time as a sales and customer service representative in Charleston, SC.

Charles quickly rose through the ranks, advancing to management and eventually running the South Carolina division of Capitol Coffee. Over the years, his deep understanding of the coffee business and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in the company’s growth and success. Today, Charles serves as co-CEO of Capitol Coffee, leading the company with a vision for innovation and exceptional customer service.

In 2020, Charles expanded his coffee journey by partnering with his brother to launch Lil Red Roaster Coffee Company. Based in Wake Forest, NC, Lil Red Roaster specializes in crafting high-quality, sustainably sourced coffee. Charles oversees operations at the roasting facility, ensuring that every batch reflects their commitment to quality and care.

Charles resides in Raleigh, NC, with his wife, Jean, and their two children, Walt and Reid. His passion for coffee, family, and community continues to drive his work and inspire those around him.
